Another bump in the night has awakened you. Was that footsteps coming up the stairs? Your dog is behaving strangely, staring intently in just one spot. You've seen shadows out of the corner of your eye and the kids swear there is something in the closet. You knew that late night spooky film fest was probably not a good idea, but..ok, someone is standing at the foot of your bed! What is going on?!?
Nowdays, many folks attempt to do some investigating on their own. It's easy, right? Relatively speaking yes, but the difficulty arises in the interpretation! You may have what looks to be paranormal evidence, but not every voice, orb, mist or face in a photo is paranormal. Having once been beginning paranormal investigators, it is very easy to misinterpret findings to be proof of a haunting. Why not just show your findings to an "expert" for validation? We receive quite a few photos, videos and some audio recordings for inspection..and while that is interesting...
Hold on there partner! While we are certainly more than willing to look at what you have, it is difficult to analyze someone else's stuff, mainly because we weren't there! Part of the process, is cross referencing. Reviewing footage from multiple pieces of equipment, what happened just prior to and after the occurrence. The history of the location and what stress factors and life challenges people at the location are dealing with. We take our personal senses seriously, what we are picking up during our time at the location and sometimes even before and after the investigation.. Every finding or impression just isn't paranormal. Most of it can be debunked. Which is not to say, there isn't something going on!
Which brings you to us. The best way to assess a situation is to have our Team come to your location, preferably without you present, after the initial interview. Why? it may interfere with both our psychic and scientific readings and will be less of a distraction. Focusing on the issue at hand is of the utmost importance for the best results. Generally we like at least 6 hours in an average size location. An hour to set up equipment, four hours to actively investigate and an hour to tear down. We prefer night time investigating, not because things can't or don't happen during the day, but there is less interference. Less outside noise (you better believe recorders pick that up!) less psychic noise flying around in general. Plus our infrared cameras are designed to work in the dark.
Opting for a full, formal investigation will garner the best results. Keep in mind that an investigation is not "Ghosts on Demand" and our Team may or may not have the same experiences that you are having. We begin, usually the next day, reviewing our footage. Cross referencing, analyzing, uploading information onto computers, making clips, doing historical research and all our normal life responsibilities too. The process can take 6-8 weeks. At this time, we will set up a Client Reveal where we share what our experiences were and our best assessment and suggestions. You will receive copies of any evidence we feel may be paranormal in nature. No fees charged. We retain a relationship with the client, if they need more help in the future. We can also do a psychic house cleansing, if the client requests one and we agree it would be beneficial. We don't send "spirits into the Light", that's not our place. A psychic cleansing is intended to remove negativity or harmful energy only.
We are here to help! Fill out the contact form on our Services page. We also do phone consultations if your location is quite a distance from us, we are tied up with other investigations or you would prefer that. Again, keep in mind, there is no substitute for an on location investigation. If this isn't for you, and you still want advice, watch for part two of "I Think My House is Haunted".
